Solar Auxilia

The old FW Solar Auxilia collection really captured my imagination in a way that very few GW model ranges have done, I haven't seen the space-napoleonic theme done better anywhere. The posing, equipment, and faces are just so characterful. The weapons look heavy, and the minis carry them as if they were cumbersome flintlocks, the models really sell you on the army theme. Reading about your creative process, I'm glad you had as much fun designing the minis as I 've had playing with them. Your modern iterations on the designs are great, and I look forward to seeing what you make next!

Même si j'ai commencé la solar avec la gamme plastique, j'ai quelques références en résine (Ogryns, Rapiers...) et j'adore le concept visuel de cette armée. Le spectacle qu'elle offre sur le champ de bataille est très satisfaisant, je suis super content que cette armée existe et j'avoue que ce sera difficile de m'en faire jouer une autre ! Merci d'avoir créé cette armée dont je trouve que la gamme plastique rend bien hommage à la gamme résine initiale :D
